Heather Dennis hails from the coastal Carolinas and brings her southern, witty humor, emotional sensitivity, 20+ years of work experience and education to every session. She is married and a mother of 4 children via adoption, bringing the unique experience of parental trauma and healing. Heather grew up in a religious cult and healed to become the wife, mother and friend she is today. She has navigated family estrangement, infertility, career stressors, relationship changes, and most recently helping launch her adult children into their own journeys.

Heather is skilled and experienced in trauma informed care, experience affirming care, gender affirming care and follows evidence based guidelines in all services provided. Heather graduated her MA in Counseling Psychology from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO in 2015. Since then, she has worked both clinical and non-clinical settings. At this time, Heather chooses to work non-clinical service delivery and maintains a virtual office to be able to travel.

Heather loves being in nature, playing with her dogs, participates in drum circles and earth based mindful practices. She includes elemental magick whenever possible. Heather does not align with any religion and chooses solo practice of her spiritual beliefs using an eclectic array of divination supports and following various spiritual leaders inspired by Light. While Heather’s spiritual supports are offered to all clients, they are not required to benefit from coaching services.

Heather is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and supports PFLAG and NAMI as professional organizations. When you meet with Heather, you receive the most loving, accepting, whole-person care possible to support YOUR goals, at YOUR pace and increasing YOUR peace of mind.
